The company aligns with Europe’s Green Agenda, making environmental responsibility a key principle. It assures customers of state-of-the-art, efficient, and cost-effective solar capped roof panels.
“We put great emphasis on research and development towards sustainable products and raw materials,” says Ihsan Tolga Akar, Managing Director of Assan Panel.
Assan Panel’s two innovative solutions, namely, its Solar Capped Panel and Smartcore insulation core material for both roof and wall sandwich panels that set it apart from other manufacturers in the industry owing to their superior lambda value and short installation time.Available in polyisocyanurate (PIR), rock wool, and Smartcore versions, the Solar Capped Panel features a special clamp system that allows it to be mounted directly on the roof. This eliminates the need for an additional aluminium infrastructure, saving labour and infrastructure costs. Compared to conventional panels available in the market, the installation and retrofitting process of the Solar Capped Panel is simpler, requiring minimal effort. The installation process does not require drilling holes in the roof surface, maintaining the integrity of the roof and preventing water leakage.

Smartcore technology ensures that the panels are lightweight with reduced thickness, saving considerable installation and transportation costs. The aforementioned lambda value of Smartcore has the added advantage of third party verification.
Additionally, effective lighting is an essential requirement for any architectural structure, and when considering sustainability, it becomes imperative to fulfil this requirement in an energy-efficient manner. Assan Panel’s polycarbonate skylights enable buildings to use natural light instead of electrical lighting. Equipped with UV protection, these skylights use 10 to 20 per cent of the roof area and are compatible with the company’s sandwich panels. A noteworthy product in this category is a four-layer polycarbonate sheet skylight called Multilight, providing long-term light transmission, thermal and structural performance.
The company’s products and solutions are a veritable testament to its environmental concern, which is complimented by its efforts to utilise 50 per cent recycled material in its manufacturing process as per the European Agenda. It is also a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact Agreement and publishes an annual sustainability report. Additionally, Assan Panel goes to great lengths to obtain GREENGUARD certification for its products, which is required for a building to get LEED certification.
Assan Panel's turnkey building envelope solutions have benefited several Fortune 500 companies, which further demonstrate the success and effectiveness of its products and services. Likewise, the growing demand for efficient rooftop solar power plants has led to the burgeoning popularity of its Solar Capped Panels in the European market.
